Hey guys,
I was mosying around server browser and noticed we have two va|VoxelArmy 4 servers. Who is hosting these servers and why is there no va|VoxelArmy 5 instead?

the only servers that we all agreed upon should be 3 va's we shouldnt even have a 4th

I agree 100%. We need to organize all the official servers and list them here on the website.

I think a lot of people want to host a server, and that is totally fine, as long as we all agree on the rules for each one of them.

Simple things that can be EASILY modified in server-init.cfg
- the descriptions of the servers should be consistent
- the welcome messages (motd) should be consistent
- there should be a list of the official servers here
- all va members should have authkeys (I have keys for everyone to put on our servers)

Official Servers (idea)
va|VoxelArmy (Edit) - hosted by nopnotme in the United States
va|VoxelArmy (Frag) - hosted by DeathStar in the United Stats
va|VoxelArmy (EU) - hosted by DeathStar in Germany
va|VoxelArmy (CW) - hosted by Infinity in Europe
va|VoxelArmy (Duel) - hosted by FragGod in Europe

Reasoning
I think va|VoxelArmy 4 is hosted by someone who is not in the clan. I am good friends with the #sauerbraten team and can get it banned from the master server if someone is impersonating our clan servers. If not, whoever is hosting it in the clan I didn't know about it and right now we have so many unorganized servers. We can't even tell which ones are official or for what. We really need to get some consistency on the naming like Rudi said so that we can post about the official servers here and imposters can't host "va|VoxelArmy 4" like it's one of ours...

Yes, i agree organization is key and needs to be handled however i think the amount of 5 different servers is quite too many. We dont want to annoy the community either by filling pages of masterserver w VA|servers , i think with 3 servers (whichever they are, one being a Europe srv and another 2 should suffice) we would be perfect and better off. Servers are great indeed, but and abundance of servers isnt

I totally agree with rudi and btw none of theese servers are mine except va clanserver, and also could all the va servers use the same authkeys cuz that would be ledd confusin
